HELLO!

i am here to revive this very dead blog.

i’m in hawaii!

it actually doesn’t feel that different… maybe because i’ve been to america before, and quite a lot of other places, really.. or maybe i’m just too stoned out from the utter lack of sleep.

but it is nice here. the wind is always blowing, and there’s zero humidity, and of course it’s nice and sunny.. it’s 4.20pm here now, on sunday. we arrived this morning at about 7.30am. so far all we’ve done is go grocery shopping.. we have already bought quite a lot of food. i love all the discounts they have. and everything is like super size.

but yeah. i can’t wait to hit the beachhhh. cheryl, i will get darker again. (but i bet you won’t read this). IT’S VERY UPSETTING THAT I NEED TO STUDY THOUGH!!!!! argh. and i have quite a lot to doooooo….

i want to go surfing and like everything else they’re doing! except maybe shopping. i could pass on that. ha ha. my mum and cousin are out shopping now. and my dad’s with them as the driver.

yeh so anyway, just thought i’d drop in.

i didnt bring my travel journal cos i figured i’d reserve it for trips with friends. and it would be distracting. distract me from my work. but i wish i’d brought it! forces me to document the trip. ah well! ok i need to go do some work now boo.

陶喆: a CHINESE concert.

hello. im a tad high from the concert. cheryl and i were trying to be cool/we were shy, so we didnt get up from out seat to touch his hand when he stood at the barrier, RIGHT IN FRONT OF US. like seriously. less than a meter away. wow wow wow. nvm! still. can brag that we. could have. but didnt want to right! front row seats. thankyou cheryl and auntie. hahaha. ah it was really fun. not screaming super loud and jumping kind but it was just really enjoyable. i thought it was really funny how he called on the unenthu, nonfanclubbish ppl to stand up. ANYWAY.

i put taoze on my nickname. then my senior, ANNASOO, talked to me. and went on about how she’s really really surprised i listened to chinese songs. she as quite shocked actually.

wah. im actually starting to get really really tired now. mnmnnm. what else can i say. mn. the world is small. everyone is so interconnected. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Six_degrees_of_separation sometimes i do think about it. like i see someone famous.. then i try to link that kinda thing. me-cheryl-kengleong(however you spell his name)- taoze! i think can connect to.. HU JIN TAO easily too. once again i apologize for a disjointed entry. but better than NO ENTRY at all right.

gosh. i think im spoilt already. with such good seats.. taoze and westlife. how to go for other concerts if i have to sit at some seat far far far away! hahahah

so i figured i should grace this blog with my much-desired presence on this magnificent first day of the lunar new year. okay so i’ve been rather lazy updating this..

you know how sometimes it feels like there’s so much to say, but you don’t really want to say it because somehow, if you put it down in words, whether written or spoken, it spoils it? either makes something you dont want to become a reality a reality or makes something magical seem nothing more than ordinary. i’m not really sure what’s on my mind but i’ve been feeling a lot like that i think. or maybe there’s just nothing in my head. a very big possibility, i must grieviously admit.

i hope the first day of cny’s been good to you guys! i had two lunches and about a million snacktimes and then dinner. it’s been quieter, with my two oldest cousins back in australia, and some of the people now, um, dead.. the way my family does it is we go around together, as in like my extended family.. so my grandfather and all his kids and their families.. and we visit family friends, rather than relatives. yeah. and with all this talk about marriage (my cousin recently proposed, and another one is just waiting for a good time), i wonder how things will be in the future..

when we all grow up and (if) we have our own families we must meet up okay! if not i’ll grow up to be old and lonely.

my cousin from england is here and she made us apple crumble. it is extremely yummy. i shall try to learn how to make it so i can make it for you guys. HAHA. do not laugh. only i can laugh. i will try.

i’ve got a ton of work to do over this holiday, which is really rather depressing.. i meant to do some yesterday and today but i really didn’t feel like. too tired to think. and it’s no good to do work at family gatherings.. so i hope i’ll be able to get lots done tomorrow.. aie. it’s very tiring. and of course, the prospect of uni looms near.. without fail, there will be someone who asks me about my plans for study in the future.. maybe i should take a gap year.

hello!

i just had swim pe and training so i’m feeling rather energetic now which is why im writing! yes keep this thing alive remember! oh i got to use FLIPPERS during swim pe. it’s really incredibly fun i felt like a mermaid. then when we had to take it out my feet felt weird. like a fish out of water.

 lunch yesterday was fun. nice to see you, ting! i think you are a short hair person. haha. you know what all our parents want to go to israel.  deb’s dad is leading a group, cheryl’s mum is keen on going with the bishop, and my mum wants a local there to be the guide. haha. same country, all different groups…

but yeah that’s our parents. what’s more important is what WE are going to do!! but first… AHHHHHH university choices!

okay i shall not ruin my merry mood by talking about that now. Oh oh do you know what mg has a HOLIDAY next monday cuz of o level results!!

what is this. i only remember being dismissed half an hour earlier in primary six. grr.

okay i guess im just jealous.

well chinese new year is coming! yay i just like holidays.

one day let’s go to eat austrian food and i will read excerpts from my favourite kid’s book to liven things up.

im also very irked by the fact that my dad attached it to a whole bunch of keys. as if things weren’t difficult enough already!

heating up

AHHH. a month gone. and im just starting to settle into school (finallly). i mean im finally paying attention (more or less) to lectures and tutorials. whats freaking me out is that everyone is studying really hard! or at least revising their work. people who used to sleep through all lessons.. are actually awake now. and they do tutorials too! thats depressing.

ive got bio spa tmr! but ive got the answers already. just need to MEMORISE adnd MEMORISE. i cant wait till all the practicals are over. lab sessions are really really tiring. does ib have lab sessions? linoo! i bet you miss lab. hahaha. physics lab remember? when we do group work? laiyee baoxia you me. then we’d just task you with filling up the sign in paper. hahaha

i have to go down to SMU for my h3 registration thingy in a bit.. then i have tennis lessons.. so i better start studying for SPA now!!

anyway. so i was flipping through my sec4 file which houses all these little notes and letters from before. remember those prefect motivation cards- i got a few of those. and just the other letters.. notes.. DRAWINGS and all.

just wanna say that i really love you all and i dont know what id do without you guys. thank you for caring ok fine life will go on.. but it’ll feel really really empty without that bunch of people you know you can meet up and rant with.
